Shipping & Delivery Information

All furniture is custom made to your order. All orders usually ship within 2-3 weeks from our manufacturer. All furniture comes to our shipping center in Laurel, MD where is inspected and loaded on our trucks for local delivery. If it is critical that you have delivery of an item by a certain date, please call 1-888-35-METRO.  We will do our best to accommodate your request.

Shipping and Handling Charges

Shipping and handling charges are not included in our online catalog prices, nor in the prices printed in our brochures and flyers. All orders are delivered by commercial freight carriers to our distribution center from where we dispatch local deliveries. Due to our large shipping volume, we have negotiated very competitive transportation pricing and pass on significant savings to our customers.

All shipping prices are calculated FOB from the point of origin. When merchandise is shipped FOB, it means you pay the freight and shipping charges from the stated location to your receiving point, in addition to the actual cost (plus tax, etc.) of the merchandise. Freight charges are based on origin and destination zip codes, plus freight classification and weight of the shipment.

For orders made on our website, shipping and delivery charges will be added to your total price during the check out of your shopping cart. Otherwise, the shipping and delivery charges will be added to your paper invoice.

Delivery Options:

Standard delivery
Furniture will be delivered to the curb at your address. Your location must be accessible to a large trailer truck. Drivers are not responsible for bringing deliveries to elevators, stock/storage rooms, and/or setting up furniture purchases. Your personnel must be present at the time of delivery to assist and to unload all furniture.

Premium Delivery and Furniture Set Up
We will send our uniformed staff with your order to the place of delivery. Our staff will unload furniture, remove from packaging, assemble tables and spread out furniture around the pool according to you instructions or stock it in your property’s storage area. We will remove and recycle all boxing from your premises.  The minimum charge is $390. An average order will require about 3 hours and 2 laborers(this is included in $390). We charge $65 per hour for every additional hour per laborer. Large orders will require more hours and more laborers to perform the work.  After we are done we will ask you to inspect everything and make any additional changes in layout of the furniture.

Receiving Your Shipment

The following steps must be taken when a shipment arrives:

1.) All shipments must be inspected upon delivery. Do not write “Subject to Inspection” on the delivery receipt. The merchandise must be inspected immediately in the presence of our representative.
2.) Verify the piece count. Make sure you sign for the correct number of items.,
3.) Examine each carton for damage and note the condition of the carton on the delivery receipt. For example,
look for crease marks, holes, or crushed spots on each carton.,
4.) If you find any discrepancies or damage, note them on all copies of the delivery receipt, then call us at 1-888-35-METRO.

Concealed damage.

Open and inspect your packages immediately. You must notify us within 3 calendar days of delivery of any concealed damage. If you have a camera at hand, please take pictures of damage.  We will work expediently to replace and repair any damaged goods.
